Another week and another upholstery cleaning in Fleet challenge.
Sculptured Viscose Velour, one of the most problematic fabrics for the upholstery cleaner to encounter.
This type of sculptured velour is notorious for texture loss from any exposure to moisture.
The pre-existing conditions, and subsequent test, proved that this fabric was in danger of permanent distortion if moisture was applied.
The only way to clean this fabric and maintain its original appearance would of been to use dry cleaning solvents. However, dry cleaning will not fix the pre-existing distortion, only prevent further distortion. So it proved an interesting challenge.
After using a combination of dry – wet – dry problem solved.

A job well done there.
That stuff can be a complete nightmare to clean, many a cleaner would have been caught out and ruined it.
